Please make a donation of any size. Here’s how easy it is for a small donation to make a small difference…(we’ll be assuming an approximate membership of 2,500):

Between our subscription base for the newsletter and Facebook, we have approximately 2,500 members. So what if every person donated…

$.25 x 2,500 = $625…25 cents per person covers our basic operating costs for one year.

$1 x 2,500 = $2,500…which is enough to put the PSA on the air in Fresno (a key market to be reaching) for a week. For just a dollar per person!

$2 x 2,500 = $5,000…we’ve kept the production cost of making our spots low by having all of the services donated. (We produced 2 spots so far for less than $2,000!) However, we want to produce PSAs that are a little more eye-catching. Two dollars per member produces at least one more spot!

$5 x 2,500 = $12,500…one of our goals has been to help with microtargeting in smaller communities that need to be reached with specific educational messages (perhaps in certain languages or with certain local leaders). We would like to reach into a number of communities and produce spots and help them get on the radio or on tv…in whatever way will help their community get the message best.

$10 (RECOMMENDED DONATION) x 2,500 = $25,000…look at how quickly a small donation from a large group can grow…this is the sort of money that gets us a statewide targeted ad buy for a month!

$20 x 2,500 = $50,000…clearly, this would enable us to continue to produce high-quality spots and get them in front of the eyes of many people who we hope will vote against discrimination next time.
