It is very important to win over every potential voter so that the next time this issue ends up on the ballot, they will either vote to support equal civil rights for everyone or they will choose to abstain.  In my own experiences, I have found that discussions with people who disagree tend to slowly devolve into arguments and then anger and name-calling.  My belief is that if we stay rational and polite, at some point they may actually be able to listen without the filter of bigotry and bias.  Many people who voted against same-sex marriage are decent, kind-hearted people who have just never been made to think outside the limitations of their own personal box.  Let’s help them open their box, whatever it’s made out of.

This section is going to have a variety of subcategories to provide resources to you as you have these discussions.  It is very important that we remain calm and civil and factual.  Hopefully, these sections will help with the religious, legal and social topics that are most likely to come up.  If you find any mistakes or feel that there is additional information you can add, absolutely email it to me at josh@allornotatall.org.

NOTE: In some of the following pages, we have linked certain phrases to other places on the internet so you can go in depth and learn in more detail about these many issues.  Some of these pages are on Wikipedia.  We have just become aware that there is a recent lawsuit against Wikipedia for not monitoring the accuracy of their site, so, time-permitting, we will find other resources and link them instead.  But for now, just be aware that we are aware that while all the information we have linked so far seems correct, we are looking for more resources.
